Danish design brand MATER, whose products are made of sustainable materials, aims to create sustainable design and care for our Mother Earth. The environmentally-friendly Trumpet Coat Stand made of aluminium is one of the most representative Mater designs. Trumpet Coat Stand designed by the Danish designer duo SPACE COPENHAGEN is crafted in a small workshop in northern India, using ancient sand casting techniques. The raw material is derived from 70 % aluminium waste, which earnestly practises Mater's advocate of environmental protection. The nine discs in three different sizes are fitted to the stand and positioned at angles suitable for hanging hats, scarves and umbrellas. In addition, Trumpet uses flat packaging to ease transportation.
