PUTKI Lamp, Mouth-blown Glass Art from Finland
Thinking of Christmas, what would come into your mind? Stoves? Candles? Or colourful lights? Scandinavian winters are particularly cold and long due to the geographical elements, and warm colours help create a warm atmosphere to survive the long winter.
PUTKI LAMP, designed by Swedish designer Mattie Klenell, was originally used in the reopened Swedish National Museum in Stockholm. The massive PUTKI was placed on the window in the museum restaurant. After IITTALA resized it, we can finally bring PUTKI home with us. PUTKI can be used as table lamps and floor lamps for different purposes.
The mouth-blown glass shade of PUTKI is handcrafted at the IITTALA glass factory in Finland, and its soft glow brings calm and warmth even in winter.
