SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN LIGHTING IN HONG KONG

In the late 1920s, amber glass was a popular material widely used in designs, that was why Danish designer Poul Henningsen incorporated it into the PH lighting design serious.


What makes PH series lamps special is the three-layer system, which emits a glare-free, downward directed light while radiating a pleasantly delicate glow.


One hundred years later, in 2020, Louis Poulsen launched the limited edition of this PH 2/1 table lamp. Compared with the regular PH 2/1 table lamp, this special edition has a smaller size. Made of mouth-blown Italian glass, it is a highly collectable art piece.


As a limited edition, this PH 2/1 limited edition has been discontinued on Louis Poulsen's official website while there are only a few stocks left at Manks for Danish modern design enthusiasts.
